2. Using paid advertising such as PPC or Facebook ads or zillions of other paid advertising services.

So what is the point I am trying to get across? Remember I referred to your sales page or website as an asset….

Why spend time and money on an asset you do not own? Will your time and effort translate into any increase in value of your free or clone site? Absolutely not….

This is the real “Kicker” Build your own site, build an asset, that WILL increase in value over time. If you are fed-up after a year or 2 or have too many sites, or sites that do not perform, you can flip them. MEANING YOU CAN SELL THE WEBSITE.

This very site (domain) that I purchased 9 months ago for $69 has increased in flip value 12400% – immediate sales value now, but extrapolated value can be found here.
Admittedly, when flipping a site there is always a bit of haggling and you may invariable get less than expected, or more if you have good traffic stats.

• Just $10 for your info pack with DVD. The most famous here is the Herbalife DVD.
• $ 10 Recruitment fee – MLM Scams

MLM as a marketing platform or strategy is not a scam, it is just a perfect platform that lends itself to abuse and misuse, like the MONEYFISH SCAM , that has no real product.

• You pay $10 p.m and then recruit like crazy to get your friends and family to join.
• Only to be scolded afterwards.

• Online surveys – questionable at best, unless you reside in the US, UK or Australia metro areas. Most label this as an easy way to lose money rather than making money.  The irregularity and availability of worthwhile surveys is a major issue. Remember your goal is to make money, not waste time.
• Stuffing envelopes – Please, have a heart. All you will be doing is stuffing their wallets with your money.
• Typing from home, data entry or medical transcripts. –  Few and far between.  I have not come across genuine success stories. Again this is potentially something to consider and is dependent on your geographic location. However the judgement is spend my final review of some sites.
• Organizing home parties or recruiting others to sell shakes and pills. Yes it is a big business but………  may not suite your circumstances or preferences.

My simple response to most product mlm and networking is ……. unless you have marketing experience, lots of time or like dealing with people face to face, handling customer complaints, product handling and customer returns, then it may suit you..  If you do not mind doing the same activity over and over, then it’s fine.

Herbalife would like you to believe that you can easily recruit people all over the world to sell under your matrix…not that simple.

Biggest challenges newcomers face and seem to avoid!

• Setting up a website or blog
• Making sure the site is mobile friendly
• Website Graphics – Online, a book does get judged by its cover (even if it is only a initial reaction)
• Contact forms, free downloads, etc.
• Finding relevant content
• Making sure the website conforms to SEO standards.
• Ensuring that the site is set up to maximize monetization, all on one site!
• Taking advantage of all the potential income opportunities a single site can offer, like adsense, clickbank and amazon and ability to offer my own product (even a re-sell right product acquired)

You can still be your own “boss” and do your own thing as there are services available that offer a pre-created blog in most of the hot money niches, with content and it will all be set up for you.

Many new comers to the internet and even those that are not so new spend way to much time to get out of the blocks…….

They know what they want to do, but get stuck in the mud focusing all their energy trying to create a decent site with no time left to actually make any money.
